This article walks you through the use case of split payment
Payments in our checkout are built in a way, that you will keep coming back to the choice of your next payment method until the checkout is fully paid.
Let’s walk through the case, where the client wants to pay partly in cash and partly with a card:
Select Your First Payment Method
After settling all the items in your final checkout, continue to the Payment Method Step and select your first method:
Edit The Amount To Pay
Let’s say, your client wants to pay with cash first and the rest with the card.
In this case, we will select Cash and edit the amount, that the client wants to pay:
Please note, that amount will always be defaulted to what is left to pay. You can change it, but the amount can’t be more than what’s left to pay
Pay and Select Your Next Method
After that, you can hit the “Pay and continue” Button – your “To Pay” will be updated and you can select your next payment method:
Continue, until full Checkout Is Paid
Select your next payment method to finish the checkout – you will be asked to select the payment method again and again until the checkout amount is fully paid
Please note, that you can select the same method multiple times – if it’s multiple credit cards or gift cards, for example
Where Is It Reflected?
You can find the receipt in your appointment details or checkout history, to see the transaction details.
All payment methods used in the checkout will be recorded and highlighted in the receipt
