For Google Wallet to work, you need to have NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled on your phone. This is the technology that makes contactless payment possible.
🔧 How to turn on NFC:
Open Settings on your phone
Search for "NFC"
Enable the switch at "Use NFC"
Make sure that Google Wallet is set as the default payment app
🔍 Tip: On some phones, you can find this under
Settings > Connected devices > NFC or
Settings > Connections > NFC and contactless payments
Still not working?
Make sure the Glede Gift Card is selected as the default card in Google Wallet
Hold the back of your phone close to the terminal - try adjusting the position if nothing happens
Check that you don't have power saving mode enabled, as this can disable NFC
