There are a few easy ways to log your activities to GoJoe:

  • Sync a wearable – Connect a device such as Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Health (pulls Apple Workouts, Nike Run Club, Peloton), Health Connect, Suunto, Polar, Samsung, Coros, Wahoo, or Whoop to automatically pull in future workouts and daily steps. Just go to your profile icon (top-left) > Settings > Applications and Devices.

  • Use GoJoe’s in-app GPS tracker – Tap the + button > Record Activity to track your movement using your phone’s GPS.

  • Manually log an activity – Tap the + button > Manual Activity and select your activity type or steps for the day. (Tip: If you're manually logging an activity, we recommend uploading a photo or screenshot as supporting evidence (e.g. a treadmill screen, app screenshot, or watch display). This helps our GoJoe Referees verify the activity if it’s ever flagged — and ensures fairness for all.)

🦶 Daily steps now count! Once your wearable (or Apple Health/Health Connect in phones) are connected, GoJoe will automatically pull in daily step totals — no need to log these separately unless you prefer to add them manually. Daily steps are now weighted fairly alongside 60+ other activity types in challenges.

💡 Tip: For structured activities (like runs, walks, or workouts), most wearables only sync the session if you press Start, Stop, and Save — so make sure to record them properly to ensure they count.

If your platform or device is unsupported, using the manual logging feature ensures your activities are still accurately recorded.
