Introduction
Golf Genius is the #1 competition software in the world. With this integration you will be able to facilitate your players' experience when signing up for a tournament, as well as management from administration. In this article we will show how to register a player for a tournament. The type of reservation must have been previously configured.
Integration Types
There are two options to manage a golf tournament:
The British/Australian option, where players can choose when and with whom to play a tournament
The international option, where the players sign up for a pool of registrations, and the club generates the matches the day before. Example, in which the players sign up for a pool and the club generates the matches the day before.
In this article we are going to talk about the British/Australian mode, as it is the only mode in which the integration is active at the moment.
British/Australian mode.
In this way the club decides which days there is a tournament. The player will be able to play those days on the field with the option of whether he wants to play in tournament mode or in friendly mode. In this mode, the player can choose the time of the match and his playing partners. Example, player A and B decide to play this Saturday, and only player A decides to join the tournament. Both will make a reservation for Saturday at 10, only player A will take the tournament fee, and player B the normal green fee rate. This way they will both play together but only player A will receive a game card and will be eligible for prizes.
International mode

Player registration
British/Australian way - Online.
The player will book a tee as if he were any other green fee on the desired day and time.
When choosing the rate, he will choose the Tournament rate.
In the next step you will have to search and choose the player.
The last step would be to pay the registration fee to confirm the reservation.
British/Australian way - Offline or Administration.
Choose the day and time to target the player, and select the Tournament rate.
At the time of booking, the player will be automatically registered for the tournament.

The ability to associate a booking type with a Golf Genius tournament has been added to booking types. This way, every time someone contracts that rate or type of reservation, they will be automatically signed up for the tournament they are associated with. This fee will be visible at reception or online like any other green fee.
Create the type of reservation you want.
Example: Rolex Tournament.
It is important that in the Identification form field you choose the Search customer option.
At the bottom of the screen, in the golf tournament ID field, Genius chooses from the drop-down menu the desired tournament where players will be registered when contracting this type of reservation.
Activate the field Requires a license? if the tournament requires playing with a federative license.
Select the Save button.
GRADES. You can limit the type of reservation to dates, days of the week, etc. you want and you can customize the confirmation, cancellation and reminder email to adapt it to your tournament.
