🌐 Update for the new Google Analytics

Following our commitment to digitalization with our clients, Golfmanager adapts to the new version of Google Analytics GA4, allowing clubs to continue collecting data from their website.

Using GA4, you can track online traffic and conversions across the web, data that is extremely valuable and allows you to maximize sales.

🔔 Update your GA4 code to continue collecting data in Golfmanager

We want to inform you about a significant change to Google Analytics that will affect the way you collect and analyze data in the online booking engine provided by Golfmanager.

Starting July 1, 2024, Google will disable Universal Analytics properties, moving completely to Google Analytics 4. This change is crucial to continue collecting data without interruptions.

✅ What do you need to do?

It is essential that you review and update the Google Analytics code installed on your online booking engine to Google Analytics 4.

If you haven't made this update yet, we recommend following Google's migration guide as soon as possible to ensure your analytics and measurements continue to work effectively.

💬 How can we help you?

We understand that this transition can be complex, which is why our support team is available to help you make these changes, even though it is a topic completely unrelated to Golfmanager.

If you need assistance, do not hesitate to contact us in the blue bubble of your management program.

🤔 Thinking about renewing your website?

Configuration by the club

Section: Main Menu > Customer Zone Configuration

You need the code provided by Google:

Google Analytics ID. Google's code has this example format, GTM-AAAA0AA

To get this code:

Install the following extension in your Google Chrome browser: https://tagassistant.google.com/

Add the domain of your consumer online booking website, for example: https://eu.golfmanager.com/xxxxxx/consumer/ (replace the xxx with the name of your tenant)

If you get the code wrong, consumer won't work. So you always have to check the consumer reservation website after adding the code
