Installing the Goody for Salesforce app
Introduction
This guide walks through how to install the Goody for Salesforce app. This guide covers the installation of the package, and the following sections will walk you through applying permission sets and completing the Setup Assistant. Once completed, you can also move on to the next guide on how to configure your installation.
Throughout this guide, you will be instructed to navigate through Setup. To do so, you will need to click on the gear to the upper right and select Setup. Once in Setup, you may use the Quick Find box to find and navigate to the appropriate section.
Installing the Goody for Salesforce app
*Note to complete the integration process you must be the Administrator of your Salesforce instance
Visit Goody's AppExchange page to start installing the application.
On the top right of the page, click the blue Get It Now button. If you haven't already, you might be asked to sign in to your Salesforce account.
Next, choose whether to install it in a production environment or a sandbox environment. Both are supported by the Goody app.
Review and confirm installation details on the next screen.
Next, you'll see the installation screen in your Salesforce instance.
Install for Admins Only is recommended – this option allows for controlling access and permissions after the package has been installed. For further information, please click here to refer to Salesforce documentation on Package Installations.
Approve Third-Party Access – check off the box and click Continue to start the package installation when the modal appears. As it states, this is to allow data to be sent back and forth between your Salesforce org and Goody.
