Running the Goody Setup Assistant
The Goody Setup Assistant connects your Salesforce org to your Goody account in order to retrieve gifts sent in your organization, and send new gifts.
To start, navigate to App Launcher > Goody Setup.
Click Get Started
To allow Salesforce to communicate with the Goody app, the first step is to authorize your Salesforce organization to connect to your organization on Goody.
On the Goody website, go to Organization > Integrations > Salesforce and create an API Key
Enter the API Key in the "Goody for Salesforce API Key" field
Click Authorize
Click Next
To allow Goody to send information to your Salesforce organization, such as gift information and shipping updates, the next step allows you to authorize Goody to your Salesforce organization.
Click Authorize and follow the instructions
Click Finish
Activating Flow Templates
Next, you can activate Flow Templates to perform actions in Salesforce, like assigning tasks to users, when Goody events occur, such as gifts being created or shipped. We provide a set of default Flow Templates that fit most organizations, but they’re also a great starting point to customize them for your own organization.
Activating Flow Templates isn't required to use the Goody app, but they're highly recommended since they can help automate tasks that help gifting become a part of your sales motion, such as creating tasks when gifts are accepted or delivered to remind sales team members to follow up with prospects. If you'd like to do this later, you can click the Finish button.
Click Start
Click Flows
Drill into flow(s) which you would like to activate
Click Activate
Go back to Setup
Click Finish
