Setting Up Memberships: A Step-by-Step Guide to Pricing, Benefits, and Recurrence Configuration

Step 1 - Create the Membership

  • Navigate to Configuration Settings, and select “Memberships” under the Administration section in the navigation.

  • “Add Membership” button will prompt the user to set up a Membership Name and recurrence cycle.

    • The renewal cycle of a membership can be either weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.

    • The specific renewal date within that cycle will depend on the membership purchase date.

Step 2 - Configure Price and Benefits

  • To configure Price and Benefits, user will click on Edit Pricing & Benefits Button

  • If an account has multiple locations, Admin will see a list of locations

  • Admin will need to configure a price, tax rate, and benefits list per location

  • Price, tax, and benefits can vary per location for the same membership

  • Benefits can include primary service offers, extras and pet perks. Packages can’t be included as a benefit.

    • Discount are set up per benefit - either % or fixed dollar off. Meaning a membership can have benefits that have % discounts and dollar off discounts.

NOTE: $0 memberships should be configured to renew annually. A pet owner will receive a $0.00 receipt after every recurrence period, to reduce the auto receipt emails, annually is recommended.
