Navigation & Check-In/Check-Out Improvements
We’ve introduced several improvements to streamline navigation and make check-in and check-out more intuitive. Here’s what’s new:
Quick Check-In
The Check-In button is now a drop-down.
Selecting Quick Check-In updates the pet’s status instantly, without navigating away.
Additional options in the drop-down:
Edit Booking → Opens the invoice drawer page to adjust details.
Payment Page → Access to review and process payments directly remains the same.
Consistent Edit Booking Experience
We renamed “View Details” to “Edit Booking” for clarity.
Improved Check-Out Flow
Checking out now always routes through the Payment Page, ensuring:
Any outstanding balance is reviewed.
Late fees or last-minute charges are correctly applied.
Once on the payment page, the booking status updates to Checked Out automatically—no second action needed.
Undo Options
A consistent Undo Check-In / Check-Out button is now always visible.
This button works the same way across all pages for clarity and reliability.
Dashboard Shortcut
A new Go to Dashboard button quickly returns you to the dashboard, with the relevant confirmation message displayed.
Dashboard Improvements
Sort by Pet Name
You can now sort reservations on the dashboard by Pet Name, making it easier to quickly find the pets you’re looking for.
In Stay Indicator
A new badge will show when a reservation has an in-stay invoice tied to the primary service.
This helps you quickly identify which pets with grooming connected to their boarding or daycare stay or a daycare stay connected to their grooming reservation.
