What is a Pet Vaccination Record?

Pet Vaccination Records are a crucial component of the Pet Profile to ensure that each pet's health and vaccination details are up-to-date. This feature aids businesses in ensuring the safety and well-being of all pets under their care.

How to Use Pet Vaccination Records?

  1. Accessing Vaccination Records:

    • Go to the desired pet's profile from the CRM section.

    • The Medical and Vaccination History section is located in the upper right of the pet profile.

  2. Understanding and Updating Vaccination Details:

    • Each vaccination required by your business has a dedicated date field.

    • The date field for each vaccination indicates its expiration date.

    • Choose the calendar icon next to the date field to select a date from the date picker. Alternatively, you can type in the date manually. For convenience, if multiple vaccinations have the same expiration date, you can copy and paste the date across fields.

    • Vaccination fields will be highlighted in Red if the vaccination has expired based on the current date.

  3. Customizing Vaccination Requirements:

    • To update or modify the vaccinations required by your business, please contact us directly at support@goose.pet.

Why and When to Use Pet Vaccination Records?

  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all pets under your care meet the necessary health and vaccination standards.

  • Efficient Monitoring: The color-coded system (Red for expired vaccinations) allows for quick identification of pets that might need updated vaccinations.

  • Streamlined Check-ins: When admitting pets, having their vaccination details at your fingertips can speed up the check-in process and ensure all health requirements are met.

Best Practices:

  • Regular Updates: Always update the vaccination records with the most current veterinarian information. This ensures that the pet's health records are current.

  • Monitor Expirations: Regularly review the vaccination records and take note of the ones highlighted in Red to ensure timely renewals.

  • Maintain Open Communication: If a pet's vaccination is nearing expiration or has expired, consider notifying the pet owner in advance for a renewal.

  • Veterinarian Info: While you are entering vaccination dates for a pet, double check and make sure you have the correct Veterinarian contact information listed for the pet. This section is also located on the pet profile page.
