What are Pet Profiles?
Pet Profiles in Goose serve as a centralized record for each pet under your care. They store key details—ranging from basic information to medical history—ensuring every pet receives safe, personalized, and consistent care.
How to Use Pet Profiles?
Navigating to Pet Profiles
Go to the Customer section from the Left Navigation Menu.
Pet Profiles are located under Pet Owner Profiles.
You can also click any hyperlinked pet name to open their Pet Profile.
🐾 Tip: Clicking a pet’s name from the dashboard is the quickest way to access their Pet Profile.
Understanding Profile Components
Pet Profiles are organized into three tabs—Details, Associated Contacts, and Purchases—each containing specific sections to help you view and manage pet information efficiently.
🗓 Tip: You can also easily create a new reservation directly from the profile by selecting New… in the top-right corner. Choose from options such as Boarding, Daycare, Meet and Greet, Grooming, or Packages.
Details
Personal Details: Includes the pet’s name, breed, weight, color, date of birth, sex, and spayed/neutered status.
Medication, Feeding & Care: Add or edit medication, feeding, and care details and view any information the owner has provided about the pet’s.

Grooming: Stores grooming-specific tags and instructions for the pet.
✂️ Tip: Use this section to note coat type, preferred grooming style, or any sensitivities.
Medical & Vaccination Due Dates: Tracks health details and vaccination expiration dates.
Veterinarian: Stores vet name and phone number.
Tags & Alerts: Business-facing fields that allow you to categorize or flag specific pets for internal reference.
Pet Can Book Online: Controls whether the pet can be booked through the online portal. When disabled, the owner will be unable to book this pet online and will be instructed to contact the facility directly to make a reservation.
💻 Tip: Use this toggle to prevent online bookings for pets that require additional screening, have special needs, or need staff approval before scheduling.
Meet & Greet: Displays the pet’s temperament test status, including passed, failed, or not completed (scheduled).
Notes: Allows you to record timestamped notes about the pet for internal reference, ensuring staff are aware of specific needs, preferences, or concerns.
Files: Allows you to upload timestamped files from or for the pet for internal record-keeping.
Photos: Drag and drop or upload photos to visually identify the pet.
Associated Contacts
Allows you to add or edit related contacts for the owner, such as emergency contacts, veterinarians, or other authorized individuals.
Purchases
Displays details of the owner’s past, current, and upcoming purchases for easy reference and tracking.

Customizing Pet Profiles
Each field in the Pet Profile can be edited to keep information accurate and current. You can add new details or update existing ones at any time to ensure staff have the most up-to-date information.
