What are Pet Profiles?
Pet Profiles on Goose.Pet serve as a comprehensive database for each pet under your care. These profiles centralize crucial information about the pet, from basic details to medical history, ensuring a tailored and safe experience for every pet.
How to Use Pet Profiles?
Navigating to Pet Profiles:
Go to the Customer section from the Left Navigation Menu. You can find Pet Profiles under Pet Owner Profiles.
You can also click on any pets hyperlinked name to navigate to their Pet Profile.
Understanding Profile Components:
Basic Details: This includes the pet's Name, Breed, Weight, Sex, Color, Altered status, Temperament test status, and Date of Birth (DOB).
Medical and Vaccination History: A dedicated section to track the pet's health details and vaccination expiration dates.
Tags and Alert Notes: These are business-facing fields that allow you to categorize or flag specific pets for internal reference.
Temperament Test: Here you can record the status of the pet's temperament test - whether they passed, failed or not completed (scheduled).
Notes Section: Here, you can type in timestamped notes about the pet for internal use, ensuring all staff members are informed about specific pet preferences or concerns.
Photo Section: Drag and drop or upload photos to visually identify the pet.
Customizing Pet Profiles:
Each field within the profile can be edited to ensure up-to-date and accurate information. This includes adding new details or updating existing ones.
Reservation-Specific Instructions:
While the Pet Profile provides a general overview of the pet, specific instructions related to feeding, medication, and general care during a reservation are unique to each booking.
These specific instructions are located on the individual booking and are not saved statically on the pet profile. This ensures that each stay can be tailored to the pet's current needs and any changes in care or medication.
