How to book a standalone grooming reservation or an add on grooming reservation from Admin

Standalone Grooming Reservation

You will book a standalone grooming reservation the same way you would book a boarding or daycare reservation.

Which Users Can Make a Front Desk Booking?

Any employee with an active account (including administrators, managers, and employees) at your facility can create a new grooming booking for a customer.

Step 1: Start a New Booking

From the navigation menu on the left side of the Operating System, click the "New Booking" button. Depending on what your facility offers, you will see Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and Packages listed. Click Grooming.

Step 2: Identify Returning vs New Customer

Before entering in information about the booking, select if this is a new or returning customer:

  • Returning Customer: Search by the pet name, owner name, phone, or email

  • New Customer: Select Make a New Customer Reservation

    • Type the pet's Name, Breed, and Weight -> click Save & Continue

Step 3: Add Grooming Services

  • Click Add

  • Select the Service, add a Duration of the Service, add a Price of the Service, click Save

  • A returning grooming customer will have a visible grooming history, and you will be able to add previous services.

  • The standard duration and starting at pricing will be visible beneath the user input fields.

  • If you would like to add more than one Service for the same reservation, click + Add Service

Step 4: Confirmation & Deposit

The grooming appointment request will not be created until you have completed the deposit.

You have several options to select from:

  • Pay Now

    • If the customer has booked online or their credit card has been saved by a front desk member

      • "Saved Card" will allow you to pay with a card that was previously used. You can confirm the last four digits

  • If the customer is at the front desk

    • "Swipe/Insert/Tap" will allow the customer to pay via credit card at the terminal onsite.

  • Click the orange "Pay $X.XX" and your customer can tap or insert their card for payment

  • You can "Save Card for Future Use" so the customer doesn't have to tap in the future

  • "Cash" will mean that you are collecting cash for that payment

  • If you are taking a reservation over the phone and there is not a credit card saved

    • "Manual Entry" will allow you to collect that credit card information

  • Click Pay $X.XX and you will move to the following screen to collect payment information

  • If you wish to forego deposit, select "Collect payment in person at facility"

Once the deposit payment is complete, you will see a green bar pop up on the bottom left side of your screen. You can click on "View Schedule", which will take you to the Grooming request calendar.

Add On Grooming Reservation

Step 1: Book a Boarding or Daycare Reservation

Step 2: Add Grooming Services

  • Click Add
