How to manage grooming reservation requests

Unlike boarding and daycare reservations, Grooming reservations are by request only. This is to ensure your team has the capacity to handle all of the bookings that come through.


Below is a screenshot of the Grooming Schedule:

A. Grooming Schedule: quick link to the grooming scheduler

B. Date Picker: Scroll through dates to ensure you're working off of the correct date

C. View Toggle: Switch between a calendar view and list view of all of the grooming services

D. Staff Toggle: Select between individual or all grooming staff views

E. Print: There are two options to print - Schedule broken out by groomer - Grooming Cards with all pet and grooming information

F. Requests: All requested grooming reservations

G: Confirmed Grooming Reservations: Any reservations on the calendar are confirmed reservations for each respective employee

There are two ways to confirm a grooming request:

  1. Drag and Drop

    1. You can drag and drop the request onto the grooming calendar over any time slot and groomer.

      1. If the reservation is associated with a boarding or daycare reservation, make sure to take note of the dates before confirming

  2. Reservation Detail View

    1. You can open the drawer to schedule the reservation

      1. Click the three dots next to the request

      2. Select a date and time within the drawer *take note of the reservation dates if associated with a boarding or daycare reservation

      3. Optional: Add a note or comment to the reservation

Declining a Request:

  1. Click the three dots on the right hand side of the request

  2. Click Decline

  3. Confirm that you want to decline the request

  4. A email will be sent to the customer letting them know that the request has been denied and any deposit made will apply to the other services on the booking or be refunded
