Grooming
Pet owners can now make stand-alone grooming requests.
We’re excited to introduce a new self-service grooming feature, giving pet owners the ability to request grooming services directly online. This new feature allows facilities to list grooming options that can be easily requested by pet owners for their preferred dates. Once a request is submitted, it will be reviewed by the front desk before confirmation.
We’re dedicated to rapidly improving this feature. In a near-term release, pet owners will also have the option to request a specific groomer or choose the first available one, depending on their needs. In November, we’ll take the experience further by offering grooming add-ons, such as special shampoos, facials, and more, giving pet owners even more customization options.
Following this, we’ll introduce a calendar view displaying groomer availability. While the initial release allows pet owners to request any date, starting in November, they will be limited to dates when their chosen groomer has availability, increasing the chances of securing their preferred time.
Looking ahead to Q1 and beyond, we plan to keep refining the grooming request experience, with upcoming features like coordinating drop-off windows directly with the facility for added convenience.
Grooming appointments that are attached to a boarding or daycare stay will now be automatically checked in and out as when the grooming or daycare invoice is checked in or out
Grooming request confirmation and scheduled emails will now include the date of the groom
