If you want to cancel a job you have 3 options:

  1. Unassign yourself from the job for free

    • if the job was accepted within the last 2 minutes.

  2. Unassign yourself from the job through the Support team

    • if the job was accepted more than 2 minutes ago.

You can cancel any job type (single, multi, shift etc.).


How to unassign yourself from a job

For free

  • if the job was accepted within the last 2 minutes

Via the Support

  • if the job was accepted more than 2 minutes ago

✅ Step 1: Access Your Assigned Jobs

  • Log in to your Gophr courier account.

  • Go to the "Jobs" section in the main menu to see a list of all your assigned jobs.

  • Go to the "All Jobs" tab.

✅ Step 2: Select the Job to Cancel

  • Review the list of accepted jobs

  • Choose the job you haven't made any progress on.

  • Click on the job.

  • Click triple dots to open Menu.

✅ Step 3: Cancel Job

  • In the job menu, click the "Cancel Job" option.

Step 4: Confirm the Cancellation

  • A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you are sure you want to cancel the job.

    • To continue, click "Yes, Cancel".

      • If you change your mind, click "Back" to keep the job assignment.

Step 5: Complete the Job Cancellation

  • After confirming the cancellation, the job will be removed from your assigned tasks.

  • If the job has been cancelled via the app

    • On the Earnings screen, you will find information about your cancelled jobs.

📌 Tips:

  • You cannot cancel the job if you have already picked it up.

  • If the job was cancelled by mistake or you're unsure about canceling a job, contact the Support team on Live Chat.

What happens if a customer cancels my job?

If they cancel because you are late as you took on too many jobs, didn't manage your time well, or were doing other work instead, unfortunately you won't get paid for that job.

However, if the customer cancels for reasons that are out of your control, like changing their mind or you had unavoidable delays, you can ask support for a cancellation fee.
