Earn points
As a store you can set up different ways for customers to earn points. This can include:
Account Signup (Creating a customer account).
Leaving a review
Placing an order
Celebrating a birthday.
Redeem points
When it comes to redeeming points, as a brand, you can choose to sent a range of different thresholds
Program Status
When it comes to scheduling your loyalty program, we understand the importance of optimised processes, and therefore we have configured Roadmap loyalty to allow for a staging phase.
This is handled by setting a live date, with the additional options to add in test email domains. Any users who have these domains within their email will be regarded as testers during the test phase. This means that they will be able to earn and redeem points, even before the loyalty program starts.
This is important when it comes to setup up a loyalty plan on an existing store because you want to avoids existing customers earning points while you are in test mode.
Back dated points
Once your loyalty program goes live, if customers without accounts buy a product, then Roadmap will store the history against their email. This means that once they create an account with that email, they will get access to those points.
This works to avoid customers being disgruntled if they miss out on points, but it also becomes a way to promote the creation of accounts and driving purchases.
