The Organization section in the GreenCast Connect app displays key details about your organization. This section is for viewing only, except for the ability to edit your subscription plan.

1. Accessing the Organization Settings

  • Open the GreenCast Connect app.

  • Go to Settings (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Select the “Organization” option from the settings menu to view your organization’s details.


2. Changing Your Organization Profile Image

  • Personalize your organization's profile by changing your avatar (profile picture).

  • To change your organization's avatar picture:

    1. Go to Settings > “Organization”.

    2. Tap on your current avatar or the placeholder image.

    3. Choose “Select Image” to select a new image from your device or take a photo.

    4. Crop or adjust the image as needed, and save.


3. Organization Name

  • The name of your organization is displayed here. This is the official name associated with your account.

  • To Edit your organization's name tap the pencil (edit) icon.


4. Organization Address

  • Your organization’s physical address is displayed here.

  • Note: The address cannot be edited in this section.


5. Timezone

  • Your organization’s timezone is shown here, ensuring accurate scheduling and timestamping for reports and events.

  • Note: The timezone cannot be edited from this section.


6. Type of Organization

  • The type of your organization is displayed, such as golf, soccer, football, baseball, cricket, agriculture, landscaping, sports turf, tree maintenance or other.

  • To Edit your organization's type tap the pencil (edit) icon.


7. Subscription Plan

  • Your current subscription plan is displayed here, along with the plan’s tier and features.

  • You can upgrade your subscription plan by visiting greencastconnect.com.


8. Delete Organization

The process for deleting an organization in GreenCast Connect varies based on the subscription plan associated with the organization. Only the owner of the organization has the ability to delete organizations. Below is a guide on how to proceed depending on your subscription level:

  • Open the GreenCast Connect app.

  • Go to Settings (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Select the “Organization” option from the settings menu to view your organization’s details.

  • Scroll to the bottom to see Leave and/or Delete options.

Basic Plan

  • Organizations with a Basic plan can be deleted directly through the app.

  • Once deleted, all associated data and settings for the organization will be permanently removed.

  • Once an organization is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

Advanced Plan

  • For organizations on the Advanced plan, deletion is not immediate.

  • Users must first cancel their subscription before proceeding with deletion.

  • Unlike earlier processes, users can now cancel the subscription themselves via the app.

  • Once the subscription is canceled, the option to delete the organization becomes available.

Pro Plan

  • For organizations on the Pro plan or higher tiers, deleting the organization requires additional assistance.

  • When users attempt to delete the organization, they will be directed to contact support for further guidance.


9. Leaving an Organization

If you are not the owner of an organization, you can leave it by following these steps:

  1. Open the Settings tab in the GreenCast Connect app.

  2. Select Organizations from the menu.

  3. Confirm that you are in the organization you wish to leave.

  4. Tap on Leave Organization at the bottom of the screen.

  5. Confirm your action in the pop-up dialog.

Note: Once you leave an organization, you will lose access to its data and events unless you are re-invited by the owner.

  • Keep Information Handy: While this section is for viewing only, ensure that your organization’s details are up-to-date, especially your subscription plan.

  • Subscription Management: Visit greencastconnect.com to upgrade your plan as needed to ensure you’re on the best tier for your needs.
