Note: This article applies to the GreenCast Connect mobile app. On the GreenCast Connect desktop platform, organization switching is available through the Change Org tab in the navigation panel.
1. Accessing the Change Organization Section
From Settings:
Open the GreenCast Connect app.
Go to Settings (tap the gear icon ⚙️).
Select Change Organization from the settings menu.
From Dashboard:
On the Dashboard page, locate the two arrows icon at the top-left corner.
Tap the icon to quickly view and switch between organizations without navigating to Settings.
2. Viewing Your Organizations
When you open the Change Organization section, you will see a series of organization cards displaying the organizations you have access to.
Each organization card may include:
Organization name
Organization logo or icon (if configured)
Subscription tier (Basic, Advanced, or Pro)
Organization type (e.g., Golf Course, Landscape)
Time zone
Scroll through the cards to view all available organizations associated with your account.
The currently active organization will be highlighted, making it easy to identify which organization you are currently viewing.
3. Switching to a Different Organization
To change the organization you are viewing,
Navigate to the Change Organization section in settings or after tapping the two arrows icon on the Dashboard.
Scroll through your organization cards.
Tap the organization card you want to switch to, then hit Select.
This will immediately update the selected organization’s settings and dashboard.
4. Adding a New Organization
To add a new organization:
Tap the plus (+) button located at the top-right corner of the Change Organization screen (accessible from either Settings or the Dashboard).
Enter the required details, such as:
Organization Name or Address
Confirm the location by dropping a pin on the map.
Important: Ensure you place the pin accurately at your organization’s location. The weather data provided for your organization is determined by this specific pin location. An incorrect location could result in inaccurate weather forecasts, affecting decisions related to turf management and pest monitoring.
Choose the Type of Organization from the provided options.
Tap Confirm and Create to finalize and add the new organization.
The newly added organization will appear in the scrollable list, ready for you to select.
5. Returning to a Previous Organization
To switch back to a previously viewed organization:
Go to Settings > Change Organization or tap the two arrows icon on the Dashboard.
Select the organization icon you want to return to and tap Select.
