1. Accessing the Sensor Schedule Section

  • Open the GreenCast Connect app.

  • Go to Settings (tap the gear icon ⚙️).

  • Select the “Sensor Schedule” option from the settings menu.

2. Enabling or Disabling the Sensor Schedule

  • At the top of the Sensor Schedule screen, you’ll find a toggle button to enable or disable the sensor schedule.

    • Enable: When the toggle is on (green), the sensors will follow the schedule you have set.

    • Disable: When the toggle is off (gray), the sensors will not follow the set schedule and will stop collecting data based on the timing configuration.

3. Adding Times to the Sensor Schedule

  • To add new times for data collection, tap the “Add Times” button located next to Current Schedule.

  • You’ll be prompted to select the specific times when you want the sensors to collect data with a maximum of six.

  • After selecting the time, tap Add to add it to the schedule.

Removing Times to the Sensor Schedule

  • To remove times for data collection, tap the edit icon (red) button located next to each time.

  • You’ll be prompted to confirm the removal of the specific time from the current schedule or keep in schedule.

  • After selecting your choice, the schedule is updated.

Important Note: Schedule changes will take effect after the next previously scheduled transmission is complete.

4. Viewing Your Current Sensor Schedule

  • The current active schedule will be displayed in the Sensor Schedule section.

  • You’ll see the times when data collection is scheduled to occur.

5. Note

  • Sensors are configured to sample data at least once within each hour. The collected measurements are then grouped and transmitted according to the predefined time blocks specified in the selected schedule, which applies uniformly to all sensors installed within the current organization.

Tips:

  • Flexibility: Adjust the schedule as necessary depending on seasonal changes or specific project needs.

  • Optimize Data Collection: Use the sensor schedule to collect data at intervals that align with your goals, such as monitoring conditions during specific times of day or night.
