Monitor Training Progress

This article explains how to track crew training completion by reviewing a progress summary from the Employees list and opening individual employee profiles to view assigned courses and statuses.

Written by Kaitlin Lane

Use this article to track whether your crew is completing assigned training. You’ll learn how to review training progress from the Employees list for a quick summary, then open an employee profile to see each assigned course and its status. Training is completed in the Granum Training mobile app, and progress updates in web admin as lessons are watched, and quizzes are passed.

Before Starting

You need:

✔ A Greenius admin account

✔ At least one Crew member with training assigned (see the Assign Training article)

Monitor Training Progress

Step 1: Scan the Employees list

  1. Sign in to Greenius and navigate to Employees

  2. At the top of the page, four summary cards show how your team is doing overall:

Card

What it means

No training

Employees with nothing assigned yet

Not started

Training is assigned, but they have not begun any course

In progress

At least one course is started but not fully complete

Training complete

All assigned courses are complete for that person

  • In the table, the Training column shows a quick fraction for each Crew member (for example, 0/1 or 1/1).

  • A green badge means everything assigned is complete.

  • A gray badge means work is still outstanding.

  • The Last Active column shows when someone last used Granum Training.

  • Not yet active means they have never signed in.

Step 2: Open an employee profile

On the Employees list, click a person’s name (anywhere on the row except the action menu).

  • You land on that employee’s profile. At the top you see their role (Crew or Admin), contact info, and three summary cards:

Card

What it means

Course Progress

How many assigned courses are fully complete (for example, 0 of 5 complete)

Hours Trained

Total time spent in training content

Last Active

When they last opened Granum Training

  • Below that is the Courses table. Each row is one assigned course.

Step 3: Read course statuses

The Status column on the profile tells you where someone is on each course:

Status

What it means

Not Started

Assigned but they have not opened the course yet

In Progress

They started the course (watched at least part of a lesson) but have not finished

Needs Review

They passed the course quiz.

Complete

The course is fully finished (all lessons and quiz). Greenius shows the completion date under the badge

When a course comes from a playlist, the Playlist Name column shows which playlist it belongs to. Courses assigned on their own show a dash (—).

Step 4: Download a course certificate

When a course shows Complete:

  1. Find the course in the employee’s Courses table

  2. Click Get certificate

  3. The certificate downloads as a PDF

Tips for Admins

💡 Start with the summary cards when you want a team-wide pulse check. Open individual profiles when you need to follow up with one person.

💡 Use Last Active to spot crew who were invited but never signed in. Pair with Resend invite on the Employees list if needed (see the Add Employee article).

💡 Training column vs. profile: The fraction on the list (for example, 1/1) counts fully Complete courses only. In Progress or Quiz Passed courses still count as incomplete in that fraction until they reach Complete.

Troubleshooting

Training column shows a dash (—)

  • Try: Expected for Admin users who are not assigned crew training. Crew should show a fraction when courses are assigned.

Status stuck on Not Started but they say they trained

  • Try: Confirm they are signed in to Granum Training on their phone, not a personal account on another company. Refresh the profile page. Progress can take a moment to sync after they finish a session.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can crew see this same progress view?

No. This profile is for admins on the web. Crew track their own progress inside the Granum Training Mobile App.

Do I need to refresh the page?

Usually not. If you just assigned training or someone finished a course, refresh once if the status looks stale.
