Reduction actions involve implementing strategies and measures to lower an organization's carbon footprint. Including these actions in your carbon report not only showcases a proactive commitment to environmental sustainability but also brings tangible benefits across different aspects of the business.

Wondering how your reduction actions will be taken into your GHG assessment? Find your answers here πŸ“

Note that this step is essential, and must be taken after the assessment. It will enable our climate experts to issue you with specific reduction actions relating to your progress. To do so, go to the β€œMy Actions” tab under the Actions menu.

1. Creating an action

The "Select" page contains all actions available in Greenly's database. To add an action, you can only select one that already exists. Creating custom action is not available (for now).

You’ll be able to access the catalog of Greenly reduction actions for each activity module.

You can also see all actions available by clicking on "Library" or find the list of all reduction actions here.

If you need more information on an action, you can click on it, and a modal with the description, impact, term and implementation will open. If the action is quantifiable, you will also be able to quantify the action (on the right part of the tab).

2. Where can I find the actions I have selected?

The "Overview" page corresponds to the action plans that you have decided to implement.

On this page, you can also find a redirection to the "Trajectory Builder" tab, to start building your carbon reduction trajectory.

3. Define action statuses

Once an action is created, the status is set to "Planned" automatically. You can define the advancement status of an action in the action modal, by selecting it in the top right corner. The status of an action can either be "Planned", "In progress" or "Completed".
