Reduction actions involve implementing strategies and measures to lower an organization's carbon footprint. Including these actions in your carbon report not only showcases a proactive commitment to environmental sustainability but also brings tangible benefits across different aspects of the business.

Wondering how your reduction actions will be taken into your GHG assessment? Find your answers here 📝

Note that this step is essential, and must be taken after the assessment. It will enable our climate experts to issue you with specific reduction actions relating to your progress. To do so, go to the “My Actions” tab under the Actions menu.

1. Creating an action

The "Select" page contains all actions available in Greenly's database. To add an action, you can only select one that already exists. Creating custom action is not available (for now).

You’ll be able to filter the actions by category (fret, energy, travel, etc.).

You can find the list of all reduction actions here.

To have more information on an action an implement it, click on it and a modal with the description, impact, term and implementation will open. If the action is quantifiable, you will also be able to quantify the action.

2. Define action statuses

When creating the action, the status will be set to "Planned" automatically. You can define the advancement status of an action in the action modal. The status of an action can either be "Planned", "In progress" or "Completed".

3. Where can I find the actions I have selected?

In the "Overview" you will be able to see all your reduction actions. You can also view them on the "Select" page by clicking on "Selected actions".
