Creating and Sending a Quote

Send a customer a quote through Greenscreens

Updated over a week ago

Overview

You can create, email and manage customer quotes directly from Greenscreens.ai. Your customers can accept (or reject) your quote from right within their email.

When a customer responds from within a quote email, you'll be automatically notified and your Quotes tab will automatically be updated to show the quote as won. You can also manually update the status of your quotes on the Quotes tab.

Sending a Quote

Greenscreens quotes by default use the Target Sell Rate, which is the rate the AI predicts for your shipping customer. You can edit the Target Sell Rate manually to change the amount of your quote.

  1. Request a rate by entering lane details and clicking Get Rate.

  2. Click Send quote:

  3. Fill in the Send Quote form. A couple of notes:

    • The system will automatically populate fields where it has the required information.

    • You can edit the amount of the quote in the Linehaul field.

    • Quotes that have not been accepted or rejected by the expiration date you set here will auto-expire and the customer may no longer accept or reject them.

  4. Click Send.

  5. Your email client will open, with a draft email including all quote information. You can add any further text or information you'd like to include here.

  6. Send the email.

Copying a Quote

You can copy quote information from Greenscreens and paste it into an email. The links to accept or reject the quote will be included.
