Creating and Sending a Quote

Send a customer a quote through Greenscreens

Updated over a week ago

Overview

You can create, email and manage customer quotes directly from Greenscreens.ai. Your customers can accept (or reject) your quote from right within their email. When a customer responds from within a quote email, you'll be automatically notified and your Quotes tab will automatically be updated to show the quote as won. You can also manually update the status of your quotes on the Quotes tab.

Sending a Quote from the Rates Tab

  1. Request a rate by entering lane details and clicking Get Rate.

  2. Set a rate for your quote. Greenscreens quotes use the Target Sell Rate. If you would like to change the rate, just click the Target Buy Rate field and edit the number:

  3. Click Send Quote:

  4. The Send Quote button will open an email template populated with the information the system has about the quote. The quote expiration date will default to the end of the next business day, but you can edit it here. Quotes that have not been accepted or rejected by the expiration date will auto-expire and the customer may no longer accept or reject them. Fill or edit the quote details:

  5. Click Send.

  6. Your email client will open, with a draft email including all quote information. You can add any further text or information you'd like to include here.

  7. Click Send.
