Student: Customize messages received from Groovio

Overview
Groovio allows students to personalize the types of email notifications they receive. This ensures they stay informed about what matters most to them, without unwanted clutter.


How to Customize Notification Preferences

  1. Log in to the Groovio app.

  2. Tap your profile photo in the top left corner of the screen.

  3. Select "Notification Preferences" from the menu.

From here, students can toggle on or off the notifications they wish to receive.


Available Notification Types

Students can choose to receive emails for any of the following events:

  • Successful Booking

  • Membership Confirmation

  • Package Purchase Success

  • Product Purchase Success

  • Service Purchase Success

  • Retail Order Updates

  • Class (PAY NOW balance paid)

  • Membership (PAY NOW balance paid)

  • Service (PAY NOW balance paid)

  • Class Cancellation

  • Service Cancellation

  • Schedule Update (delete)

  • Membership Cancellation Request Update

  • Removed from Class

  • Early Class Access Notification

  • Waitlist Notification

  • Waitpool Notification

  • Membership Payment Success/Failure

  • Booked Class Updates

  • Auto Cancellation of Class

  • Class Booking Success/Fail

  • Service Booking Success/Fail

Students can also update their SMS preferences from their student profile.

Go to your Student Profile.

  1. Click on your profile picture.

  2. Select Edit Profile.

  3. Find the SMS Consent option.

  4. Toggle it on to receive text message updates (or off to stop receiving them).


Note:
Changes to notification preferences apply immediately. Students can update these settings at any time to reflect their communication needs.

If a student is not receiving emails they’ve opted into, we recommend checking spam/junk folders or confirming that their email address is correct in their profile.
