Using the Marketing Features: Customer List and Campaigns

The Marketing section in Groovio, which includes Customer List and Campaigns under Groovio > Marketing, enables you to organize students and send targeted notifications. With these tools, you can create and manage customer lists and set up marketing campaigns to keep students informed about studio events, promotions, and updates.

Customer List

The Customer List feature allows you to create and manage lists of students associated with your studio, organizing them for targeted campaigns.

  • Creating a Customer List:

    1. Go to Groovio > Marketing > Customer List.

    2. Click Create New List and add the following details:

      • Name: Assign a recognizable name to your list.

      • Linked Students: Add students from your studio to include in this list.

  • Managing Customer Lists: In the Customer List view, you can:

    • Edit: Update the list name or the students included.

    • Delete: Remove a list when it’s no longer needed.

    • View Members: Review all students in the list.

    • Set Status: Change the status to Active or Inactive to control list visibility for campaigns.

The Customer List feature enables efficient student organization, making it easier to target specific groups for marketing efforts.

Campaigns

The Campaigns feature allows you to send notifications directly to students on a selected customer list. You can choose between push notifications and email, allowing flexibility in how you communicate with your audience.

  • Creating a Campaign:

  1. Go to Groovio > Marketing > Campaigns and select Create New Campaign.

  2. Fill in the campaign details:

  • Location: Specify the studio location.

  • Notification Type: Choose either Push Notification, SMS, or Email.

  • Customer List: Select the target customer list for this campaign, or select "All Connected Students" (Note, you must first create a customer list with the appropriate students if you don't want to send to all students)

  • Title: Enter a compelling title (or email subject) for the notification.

  • Message: Compose the content of the notification.

  1. Click Submit to send the notification to students on the selected list.4. Before submitting, ensure that all recipients have opted in to receive promotional emails to avoid delivery issues.

**Note**

  • SMS messages can only be sent to students who have consented to receive them.

  • Email messages can only be sent to students who have opted in to receive promotional emails

  • Push notifications can only be sent to students who have enabled push notifications after installing the appIf campaign emails are not being received, follow these steps:

  1. Check Opt-In Status: Ensure the recipient's account is opted in to promotional emails.

  2. Check Inbox and Spam Folders: Confirm that the email has not been filtered into spam.- Promotional email opt-in status determines whether users receive campaign emails. Users who have opted out will not receive promotional emails, ensuring compliance with their preferences and regulations.

The Campaigns feature is an effective way to keep students updated and engaged with relevant studio news and special offers.If campaign emails are not reaching intended recipients, verify their promotional email opt-in status and follow troubleshooting steps to resolve any issues.
