Offer Segments

💡 To configure offer segments, go to Upsell > Offers > Add/Edit offer > Segments tab.

Use the Segments settings to control your offer visibility to ensure the right offers are shown to the right guests.

Go to Upsell > Offers > Add/Edit offer > Segments tab to configure the following settings:

  • On which days of the week is this available? — determine on which days of the week an offer is available by ticking the relevant boxes.

  • Set the dates during which the offer should be active — set the offer active from and offer active until dates, useful for a promotional, seasonal, limited time, or a one-off offer.

⚠️ If the date fields are both empty, then this offer will be visible all the time.

  • When is it visible to guest? — configure an offer to show Before arrival or During stay, or both.

Segments: room upgrades

You can set segmentation options so that your room upgrades are only visible by guests staying in certain room types. (This data will be provided by your channels or connectivity).

To segment a certain offer for specific guests, find the relevant offer from Upsell > Offers or Room Upgrades , then click Edit and navigate to the Segments tab.

Under Which guests should see this offer you will see the available segmentation options, which are based on the information received from your channels or connectivity.

When adding segmentation options into each field, as well under Offer visibility, you will see the number and percentage of guests that will see your offer, based on the next 90 days of reservations.

💡 Show relevant offers to the right guests. For example, don’t show your Breakfast Buffet offer to reservations that already include breakfast, and don’t show offers targeted to families for a reservation that only includes adults.

Note:

  • When you first create an offer, it will be visible to all of your guests.

  • You can add multiple segmentation options to an offer but keep in mind the more segmentation options you add, the less number of guests will see your offer.
