The Apple Health "Activity Rings" are a fantastic way to visualize your daily movement, and many of our users want to monitor their progress on closing them within Habitify.

While Habitify doesn't have a feature to visually display the three Apple Health rings directly, you can effectively monitor and track all the underlying data that powers them: Active Calories (Move Ring), Exercise Time (Exercise Ring), and Stand Hours (Stand Ring).

Create a Habit to Track each Ring

To add a new habit to track data of each activity ring, you should create a new habit synced with Apple Health. Follow these steps:

  • From the Journal view, tap on + button on the date bar.

  • Tap on Create Good Habit.

  • Switch to Health.

  • Find in the categories one of the following: Active Calories, Exercise Time, or Stand Hours.

  • Grant Habitify the access to Apple Health.

  • Set up your habit's details (read more here).

  • Tap Save to save the new habit into your list.

The new habit will be marked with a heart icon on your Journal view.

Group Your Habits in an Area

To easily see all your ring progress in one clean space, group these three new habits into a dedicated Area.

  1. From the Journal view, locate the All Habits section and swipe the bar to the left.

  2. Tap the '+ New Area' icon to create a new Area.

  3. Name it "Activity Rings" or anything as your preferance

  4. Add the three habits you just created to this Area.

Now you have a dedicated dashboard inside Habitify that automatically monitors your progress towards closing your three Apple Health rings every day.
