For a long time, the Forest feature has been a beloved part of the Habitify experience, offering a beautiful, visual way to see your dedication grow one tree at a time. We know that many of you have enjoyed watching your personal forests flourish as a representation of your consistency.
As part of our commitment to evolving and improving the app for the future, we have made the difficult decision to retire the Forest feature from Habitify.
This article is to explain our reasoning behind this change and to share what's next.
Why Are We Making This Change?
To build a better, more stable, and more engaging app for the long term, we need to focus our development resources. Retiring the Forest allows our team to dedicate their full attention to strengthening core features and building newer, more powerful community tools, including our new Circle feature.
What This Means For You
The Forest section has been removed from the app. Your previously grown trees will no longer be displayed.
Your habit data is completely safe. Importantly, this change only affects the Forest visualization. All of your habits, streaks, completion history, and all other data are completely safe and unchanged.
