In any Habitify Circle, a little encouragement can make a big difference. To help you support your teammates, we've introduced the Check-in feature. This tool allows you to send a friendly, supportive reminder to another member about one of their shared habits, prompting them to complete it for the day.
How to Send a Check-in Reminder
Sending a reminder is a quick and simple gesture of support.
Go to a Member's Shared Habit List: First, open your Circle and tap on the profile of the member you want to encourage. This will take you to the list of habits they are currently sharing with the group.
Find the Specific Habit: Look through their list and find the habit you’d like to remind them about.
Tap the 'Check-in' Button: Underneath the habit progress, you will see the Check-in button. Simply tap this button.
Reminder Sent! That's it! The member will instantly receive a push notification on their device, prompting them to check in on that specific habit.
Rules for Sending Check-in Reminders
To ensure this feature is always used for positive encouragement, there are a few limits in place.
✅ One Reminder Per Habit: You can only tap the Check-in button once for the same habit for each person within a 24-hour period.
🖐️ Five Reminders Per Person: In total, you can send a maximum of five Check-in reminders to any single person within 24 hours (meaning you can remind them about up to five different habits).
❤️ Use It for Support: The Check-in feature is designed to be a positive tool. Use it to support your friends when you think they might appreciate a gentle reminder to help keep the group's momentum going.
