As you add more habits to your list, it can become overwhelming to see them all at once. To help you stay focused and organized, Habitify includes a powerful feature called Areas.
Areas are like folders for your habits, allowing you to group them into custom categories based on different parts of your life (e.g., "Health," "Work," "Morning Routine"). This keeps your main screen clean and helps you concentrate on what's important at any given moment.
First of all: Create a temporary habit
Before you create a new custom area, please make sure that you have at least 1 habit that is temporarily not assisgned to any area.
For the quick guide to create a new habit you can check these article:
Create a New Area
You can create new Areas at any time from the main Areas screen.
Navigate to the Areas tab on Journal view, and scroll to the right end
Tap the '+ New Area' to start creating a new Area.
Give your Area a Name (e.g., "Mindfulness," "Finances," "Home Chores").
Choose an Icon & Color to help you visually identify the Area.
Choose the habit that is created in the first step for this new one.
Tap Save.
How to Assign a Habit to an Area
When you are on the screen to edit or create a new habit, simply tap on the "Area" setting. A list of your existing Areas will appear. Select the one you want to assign the habit to before you save it.
By using Areas, you can bring a powerful level of organization to your habit-tracking.
