To keep you motivated on your journey toward a specific goal, Habitify offers Milestone Celebrations—automatic pop-ups that recognize your progress.

These celebrations are tied to habits with an End Condition, and the logic for unlocking them is tailored specifically to the type of goal you've set.

End Condtion: On a Date

These milestones are based on the time elapsed from your start date to your chosen end date. They celebrate your endurance over a fixed period.

  • Milestone Logic:

    • 25% Milestone: Awarded when 25% of the total time has passed.

    • 50% Milestone: Awarded at the halfway point.

    • 75% Milestone: Awarded when you're three-quarters of the way there.

    • 100% Milestone: Awarded on the habit's final day.

  • How to Trigger the Celebration: You must open the app and log your progress (check-in or add a value) on the exact day you reach the time milestone.

Example: For a "30-Day Fitness Challenge," provided you log your workout on those specific days, you'll get celebrations on

  • Day 8th (approx. 25%),

  • Day 15th (50%),

  • Day 23rd (approx. 75%), and

  • Day 30th (100%).

End Condition: After a Streak

These milestones celebrate your consistency and are based on the length of your current streak compared to your target.

  • Milestone Logic:

    • 1st Day Milestone: Awarded after your first successful completion.

    • 40% Milestone: Awarded when your streak reaches 40% of your goal.

    • 80% Milestone: Awarded when your streak reaches 80% of your goal.

    • 100% Milestone: Awarded when you achieve the final target streak.

  • How to Trigger the Celebration: The celebration appears immediately after the check-in that extends your streak to a milestone length.

Example: If your goal is a "60-day meditation streak," you'll be celebrated when you get

  • 1-day streak,

  • 15-day streak (40%),

  • 40-day streak (80%), and

  • 60-day streakDay 50 (100%).

End Condition: After Total Completions

These milestones are based on the total periods you complete your habit's goal, which do not need to be consecutive. They celebrate your overall frequency and commitment.

  • Milestone Logic:

    • 1st Completion Milestone: Awarded after you complete the habit for the very first time.

    • 40% Milestone: Awarded when your completion count reaches 40% of your target.

    • 80% Milestone: Awarded when your count reaches 80% of your target.

    • 100% Milestone: Awarded on your final required completion.

  • How to Trigger the Celebration: The celebration appears after the check-in that meets a milestone number.

Example: If your goal is to "Go to the gym 4 times per week," you'll be celebrated on

  • your 1st successful week,

  • 8th successful week (40%),

  • 16th successful week (80%), and

  • 20th successul weeks.

End Condition: By a Total Amount

These milestones are based on the cumulative value you have logged towards your final numerical target. They celebrate your progress toward a large, measurable goal.

  • Milestone Logic:

    • 1st Log Milestone: Awarded after you log your very first value.

    • 40% Milestone: Awarded when your total logged value surpasses 40% of your target.

    • 80% Milestone: Awarded when your total surpasses 80% of your target.

    • 100% Milestone: Awarded when you reach or exceed your total target value.

  • How to Trigger the Celebration: The celebration appears immediately after you log a value that pushes your total across a milestone threshold.

Example: If your goal is to "Read 10 pages per day" and end when Total Amount is 1000 pages, you'll be celebrated

  • when you complete your first day

  • when you pass 400 pages,

  • when you pass 800 pages, and

  • finally, when you hit 1,000 pages.

Reaching 100%: What's Next?

When you reach the final 100% milestone for any habit, a special celebration screen will appear, giving you two options for what to do next:

  • Continue the Habit: If you've enjoyed the process and want to make it a permanent part of your life, choose this option. The end condition will be removed, and the habit will remain in your active list to be tracked indefinitely.

  • Archive the Habit: If the habit was for a specific, now-completed goal, you can archive it. The habit will be marked as complete and will no longer appear in your daily Journal or active progress views, keeping your list clean and focused.
