What is a Habitify Challenge?
Building habits is always better together. A Habitify Challenge is a space where a group of people can commit to building a specific habit together in a more intense, time-bound journey.
As the creator of a Challenge, you become its Host. This means you set the rules, define the goals, and lead the group toward success. It's a fantastic way to boost motivation, create friendly competition, and hold each other accountable.
How to Create Your Own Challenge
Follow these steps to set up your Challenge.
Step 1: Start the Creation Process
Open the Habitify app and navigate to the "Friends" tab.
Tap on "Create Your First Squad", or the '+' button in the top right corner.
Select "Challenge" from the menu.
Step 2: Customize Your Challenge Details
Now, make your Challenge unique and engaging:
Set a Background: Choose an inspiring cover image. You can upload a photo from your device, search for a beautiful image on Unsplash, or pick from our recommendations.
Challenge Name: Give it a clear and motivating title (e.g., "30 Days of Mindfulness" or "Early Risers Club").
Theme Color: Pick a color that will be used for buttons and interactive elements within your Challenge.
Description: Tap "+ Add Short Description" to explain what the challenge is about. Let participants know what to expect and why they should join!
Step 3: Define the Rules
This is where you set the difficulty level:
Duration: How long will the journey last? Choose from presets like 7, 14, 21, 30, 45, 60, or 90 days, or select "Custom" to set your own timeframe.
Minimum Goal: Set the bare minimum target that every participant must commit to completing each day (e.g., "10 minutes" or "1 time").
Skip Allowed: Decide how forgiving the challenge will be. This is the number of times a user can mark a day as "Skipped" and freeze their streak without failing. You can choose "No skip" (Hard mode), "Unlimited skip", or a specific number.
Once you are happy with the setup, tap the Checkmark (β) button in the top right corner to save your Challenge.
Committing to Your Own Challenge
Since you are the host, be the first one to join and commit to the challenge. Take the steps below:
Open the Challenge you just created.
Tap on the "Commit Your Daily Goal" button.
Enter your personal daily goal.
This must be equal to or greater than the "Minimum Goal" you set in the rules.
Sign your name at the bottom and slide the button to officially confirm your commitment.
How to Invite Your Friends to Your Challenge
Congratulations! Your Challenge is live and you are the first participant. Now you can use the "Invite" or "Share" button to send the link to your friends and start building habits together!
