Why can’t I see the Lifetime plan while I’m on a free trial (iOS)?

If you’re currently on an iOS free trial or active subscription, the Lifetime purchase option may be hidden/disabled until the trial ends and your account returns to Free.

If you started a free trial on iPhone/iPad, you might notice that the Lifetime option is not available on the Upgrade screen. This is expected behavior while your account is in an active trial / active subscription state.

Why this happens

Apple treats a free trial as an active subscription. While that subscription is active, the App Store may restrict changing plans in certain ways. In Habitify, the Upgrade screen that includes Lifetime can be temporarily hidden or disabled until the trial ends.

How to purchase Lifetime after starting a trial (iOS)

  1. Cancel auto-renew for the trial:
    Open iOS Settings[your name] (Apple ID) → SubscriptionsHabitify → tap Cancel Subscription.

  2. Wait until the trial ends.
    Canceling stops the trial from converting into a paid subscription, but you’ll still have Premium access until the trial end date.

  3. After the trial ends and your account returns to Free, open Habitify → SettingsUpgrade to Premium.

  4. Select Lifetime and complete the purchase.

Tips

  • If you don’t see Lifetime right after canceling the trial, that’s normal — it typically becomes available after the trial end date.

  • Make sure you’re signed in to the same Habitify account on all devices.
