How to Add Tasks within a Habit

"Tasks" allows you to create a list of actions, ensuring that you have a clear and organized plan to achieve your goals.

An Example of Habit Tasks

You have a habit named "Today's To-do List" including the tasks you must finish to complete your habit.

The habit tasks are varies depending on your day, more like on-time task. For example, your today's list might include:

  • Buy a birthday present for Belly

  • Call Ellen asking for a chocolate birthday cake

  • Invite Belly's friends to join the party

  • etc.,

How to Add Tasks

  1. From Journal, tap on a habit to go to the Single Progress view of the habit

  2. Switch to the "About" tab.

  3. In the "Tasks" section, tap the "+" button to add a new task.

  4. Enter the task name, choose the date and time as your preference.

  5. Tap "Done" on your keyboard to add the task to the list.

How to Edit a Task

To edit a task, you just need to tap on the task. Then you can change the name and adjust date & time.

How to Delete a Task

To delete a task:

  1. Tap on your habit to open its detailed progress view

  2. Tap on 3-dot button on the top right corner of the screen

  3. Choose "Manage Action List"

  4. Swipe the task to the left and choose delete.

FAQs

Will I receive notifications on tasks?

Yes, Habitify does support notifications on the reminders for tasks.

How can I make tasks inside of a habit repeat daily?

The task is not supported to repeat daily yet. It is a one-time task.

To have a repitive lists, you can use the function Checklist that is available in the detailed settings of your habit.

How can I review the completed tasks?

Once you complete a task, it will be removed from the "About" tab.

However, you are still able check your completed tasks:

  • In the single progress view of your habit, tap on 3-dot menu button on the top right corner

  • Tap on Manage Action List

This allows you to review your progress and keep track of the tasks you've taken to maintain the habit.
