Personalizing your profile by adding a name and a unique username helps make your Habitify journey feel more like your own. It also makes it easier for friends to recognize you in community features like Circles.
Important Note
Your Name (e.g., Jane Doe): This is your personal display name. You can change it at any time.
Your Username (e.g., @janedoe): This is your unique, permanent public identifier in Habitify. It cannot be changed once it has been saved.
How to Set Up Your Profile
First, you'll need to access your profile screen.
Open the Habitify app and go to the Settings tab.
Tap on your Account Name at the very top of the screen.
From this Profile screen, you can now set both your name and username.
To Set Your Display Name
On your Profile screen, find the Name section. Tap on the fields to enter or edit your First Name and Last Name.
⚠️ Important Note for iOS Users
We are currently aware of an issue on the iOS app where an updated name may not always display correctly on the main Settings screen after being changed.
To ensure your name is updated correctly across all your devices, we strongly recommend using our Web App to make this change.
Log in at app.habitify.me.
Click on Your Name > Profile.
Change your name there, and it will sync properly to your iPhone.
To Claim Your Unique Username
On your Profile screen, tap the "@ Claim Username" button.
Enter the username you wish to use. It must be unique across all of Habitify.
Tap "Save" to claim it permanently.
⚠️ Important:
Your username is permanent and cannot be changed once you save it. Please choose carefully.
