Accidentally checked off a habit you didn't do? Or perhaps you entered 500 when you meant 50? Don't worry, mistakes happen, and it's easy to fix your progress log.

Here are the two ways you can correct a mistaken entry in Habitify.

Option 1: Manually Delete from Log History (For Any Past Mistake)

This is the most precise method and can be used to fix a mistake made today, yesterday, or at any time in the past.

If you entered the wrong value (e.g., "100 minutes" instead of "10") and want to change it, you must first delete the wrong entry and then add the correct one.

  1. Tap on your habit to open the single progress view, then tap on the 3-dot button in the top right corner

  2. Choose "Log History"

  3. Swipe left the log you want to remove, and choose "Delete"

By this way you can change the wrong entry of value progress by removing it and then add a new one.

Option 2: Shake to Undo (For Immediate Mistakes)

If you just made a mistake—like accidentally tapping the checkmark—you can undo it instantly.

  1. Immediately after making the mistake, simply shake your phone.

  2. A pop-up will appear asking if you want to "Undo" your last action.

  3. Tap "Undo", and your last check-in or log will be reversed.

This is the fastest way to fix a very recent, accidental tap.

⚠️ Important Limitations of "Shake to Undo"

"Shake to Undo" is a fast tool, but it's important to understand its limitations:

  • This feature works from the very last action you took in the app.

For example, if you check off "Habit A" and then immediately check off "Habit B," shaking your phone will only undo the "Habit B" check-in, then the second shaking will undo "Habit A."

  • The "undo" state is temporary. If you close the app, navigate to a different screen, or log out your account, the "undo" option will not work.
