Summary

It's now easy to sort, filter and customise the view of the RAMS table. The new view gives you more control over how your RAMS are displayed, making it easier to find, sort, and organise the information that matters to you.

With this update, you can tailor and search your RAMS projects:

  • Filter, sort and search ↕️

    • E.g. by status, client, name

  • Add or remove displayed column fields 📋

    • Remove fields from the list and display what you want, e.g. "Created by" or "Approved by"

  • Resize columns ↔️

    • Change the width of each column to suit your screen

💡 Please note

All changes made to your table view (filters, columns, sorting) are only visible to you and only apply within the division you're in. They won’t affect other users’ views.

Your view and changes will be saved between sessions.

Who is this available for?

This feature is available at no additional cost for all RAMS customers on any plan.

Filter your RAMS

Only want to see RAMS that are relevant to your task? Use filters to narrow things down and reduce visual noise.

Filtering means you’ll only see RAMS that match your selected criteria — making it quicker to find what you’re looking for.

You can filter by one or multiple fields at once. Just click the ‘Filter’ button at the top right of your RAMS list and select the criteria you want to use.

Available filters:

  • Approval status – Rejected, Pending approval, Approved, Not submitted

  • Approver – Who is assigned to approve the RAMS

  • Client name

  • Creation date

  • Creator – User who created the RAMS

  • Folder – (Read more about this in our Folders KB)

  • Last updated

  • RAMS status – Live, Future, Ended, No date

  • Review date – When the RAMS is scheduled for review

  • Review status – Out of date, Upcoming, Up to date, Not set

  • Reviewer – Person assigned to review the RAMS

  • Signature status – Has rejections, Pending signatures, Fully signed, Not requested

  • Start date – Start date of the RAMS

Note 💡

For customers with custom templates, we can add more fields to this list - please contact your account manager to configure.

Sort by column

Want to bring all unapproved RAMS to the top? Or sort by the most recently updated?

Click on the column header to sort the list. You can sort by one column at a time.

  • Click once = sort ascending (A–Z, oldest to newest)

  • Click twice = sort descending (Z–A, newest to oldest)

  • Click a third time = reset to default sorting

Your chosen sorting will persist (stay the same) until you change it again or reset the table.

Search your RAMS

There are two different search boxes:

  1. Top-right: RAMS/Project + Folder name search

  2. Centre: Detailed RAMS/Project search:

    1. Project name

    2. Client name

    3. Reference number

Add or remove table columns

Need to see more info in your table — or less? Now you can customise your view.

  • To open the column manager, click the table icon at the top right corner (next to the Filter button).

  • Click "Edit columns"

To select your columns:

  • Tick the columns you want to see

  • Untick the ones you don’t need

To rearrange the columns

  • Hover on the left to the tickbox: eight grey dots will appear

  • Drop and drag the columns into the desired order

Your RAMS table will update instantly.

Custom project details

For customers with custom templates only

If you have any custom text fields on your project details, these can be added as a field for your columns to filter and sort by.

If you want to enable this, please get in touch with your account manager to discuss your options.

Resize column width

You can now manually resize columns for better readability.

You can change the width by hovering your mouse over the edge between two columns until you see a horizontal line, then clicking and dragging left or right to change the width.

A few notes on filtering and sorting

  • Your filters will be saved for your profile only.

  • The filters and columns are specific to each division if you have multiple ones.

  • Your last used filters will be saved and applied across sessions.

  • Filters applied will stay on if you enter a folder.

  • A few things have moved around to make space for filters - see the full list of changes below.
