A common request from our enterprise clients, the API will make integrating HANDS HQ into 3rd party software a reality. The first iteration of the product release will cover two core functionalities:
Automatically create projects on HANDS HQ: aimed at customers doing a high volume of jobs, the API will allow HANDS HQ to integrate within the job management systems, such as CAFM or Salesforce, that are used to manage jobs and assign engineers.
When a new job is created in the 3rd party job management system, a new project can be created, propulating details like the project name, dates, references and addresses. The link to this project can then be attached to the job management system for the project manager/engineer to complete.
2. Uploading RAMS to document management systems: designed for customers who are required to store completed RAMS in a document management system, the API will deliver this capability seamlessly.
When a project is completed on HANDS HQ, the API will automatically attach the PDF of the RAMS to the corresponding job on the document or job management system.
The API functionalities will be able to be used independently of each other, and the capabilities will be expanded over the course of 2019 and beyond.
