Updated over a week ago

As the pandemic situation changes, we are updating our Covid-19 risk assessments continuously, according to current UK Government and industry guidelines.

UPDATE March 2022

As Covid restrictions have been dropped in England, we have slimmed down our Covid-19 risk assessment. The new version is considerably shorter, with just a one-part risk assessment and a small Covid statement that you can adapt.

Moving forward, we hope this is the last time we update the Covid section, and we can hopefully treat it like any other business risk.

All HandsHQ customers have access to our Covid content as part of our standard library of risks and method statements. However, if you are on a custom enterprise plan, you might need to request us to manually update it in your account.

Note: these updates are not automatic for Enterprise customers with Content Editing/ Risk Register enabled.

Adding the latest version of the Covid-19 risk assessments to existing live projects

To update your project to include the latest version of the Covid-19 risk assessment:

  • Click on the project > Documents > Risk assessment

  • Navigate to the Covid-19 section

  • Untick and re-tick the individual risk assessment βœ”οΈ

  • 🚨 DO NOT UNTICK THE OVERALL COVID-19 (Coronavirus) CATEGORY - THIS WILL RESET YOUR DOCUMENT 🚨

  • Save and exit

This will refresh your Covid risk assessments to include the latest version. If you're having issues with duplicating projects, doing this refresh can help to fix the issue.

Note: any edits you would have made in the old version of the risk assessment will be lost

Covid-19 category overview

When you tick any of the Covid-19 risk assessments, the sequence of operations and method statement sections will automatically be made available for that project.

Risk assessments:

  • General control of Covid-19 transmission

Sequence of operations:

  • All Covid-19 sequences and illustrations have been removed

Method statement sections:

  • Covid-19 statement

Still can't find the new Covid content?

If you're an enterprise customer with a personalised library (i.e. you have Content Editing/ Risk Register enabled) the latest Covid-19 category might not yet have been added to your account.

For updating existing projects to include the latest version, please see the video above.
