2. Click on Services
3. Click on + to create a new service
4. Select a Business Line & Recurrence
For example:
Residential / Recurring
Commercial / On Request
etc
5. Click on Continue
6. Name your service
Typically a brief description of the service offered
Example: 96G TOT 2X Weekly
7. Select a Pricing Zone
If Applicable
8. Set the recurrence
If you have a service that is say 3 times per week, you will select 3X and then the recurrence is Weekly.
If the services is biweekly, then select 1x and then 2 Weekly
9. Set your pricing period
10. Set the price value
Example: $80 / Pricing Period Monthly
$95 / Pricing Period Quarterly
11. Save
12. Service is now available to use
You can now add this service to your customers
What to do if the recurrence or the measurement is not available in the drop down?
Start by configuring the Measurements & recurrence -
After creating the new measurements or recurrence, don't forget to update the business lines under Settings>Business Lines>Create&Configure.
Attributes
Attributes are some of the most important foundational pieces for your Hauler Hero account. You will want to include anything and everything you offer from each business line. Once you've entered all of the relevant business attributes, you will be able to easily create and configure each of your business lines.
Services
In the service section, enter all pricing periods and service intervals you use for all customers.
Be sure to click the blue [Save] button in the bottom right corner before moving on.
Note: for the number 1, select the dash (-) from the drop down.
Measure
Add all container sizes that you offer your customers for residential, commercial, or roll off, etc...
Materials
Add all materials that your business collects, including any rarities.
Click '+ Add Material'
Color - Select whatever color you would like to associate with the material type
Note: Once you've selected the color and saved, you will not be able to edit.
These colors will appear on the pins of your route map
Material - Enter the name and double check before saving as it cannot be edited once saved.
Active - Toggle off to make the material inactive.
Require Photo - If you would like your driver to be required to take a photo when they pick up, keep this toggled on. However, it is typically recommended to keep toggled off unless hazardous materials.
Actions
Click '+ Add Action', select the action type from the drop down.
Note: If you add all right away, you don't have to use all in your business lines, it will not cause any issues.
Methods
Simply click '+ Add Method' and select whatever methods your company uses.

Create & Configure
Once you've finished entering all the details of your business, click 'Create & Configure'.
To add a new business line, click the [+ Add] button in the upper right corner.
Enter the name of the business line (i.e. Residential) and select an icon from the dropdown on the left.
Although all attributes will appear, only select those that are applicable to the business line you are creating (by checking the boxes to the left).
How to Link General Ledger (GL) Accounts to Services
This guide explains how to link your General Ledger (GL) accounts to your services for accurate financial tracking. By assigning a GL account to each service, you ensure that all revenue is categorized correctly in your reports. Before you begin, ensure you have already set up your GL accounts.
Navigate to the Pricing section from the main navigation bar.
To add a GL account to a new service, click the + icon in the upper-right corner.
Select the Business Line and Recurrence type for the new service, then click Continue.
In the New Service panel, locate the General Ledger Account dropdown menu.
Select the appropriate GL account from the list.
Fill in the remaining service details and click Create Services.
To add a GL account to an existing service, find the service in the list.
Click the three-dot menu on the far right of the service's row and select Edit.
In the Edit service window, click the General ledger account dropdown menu.
Choose the correct GL account to link to the service.
Click Save to apply your changes.
