Navigate to HealthSherpa Medicare

Create a free account by visiting medicare.healthsherpa.com and click the blue button to create an account.

(This is where you'll go to log in in the future too.)

Create your account

Enter an email and a password here:

Note for users of the HealthSherpa ACA platform: you'll create a separate account to use HealthSherpa Medicare, but you can use the same email for both.

On the next step, enter your basic details. If you don't have a company name, feel free to list your name. (And you can always edit these details later from Settings.)

Next, you’ll set up two-step verification – which delivers a login code to your phone each time you sign in, for security purposes.

Choose whether you want to receive this code via text message or Authenticator app. Most people choose text message.


With that, your account is created, and you're all signed up!

Add your carriers

Once you're signed up, most capabilities are ready to use right away – running quotes, adding contacts, etc. But to enable enrollment, you'll just need to set up your appointed carriers:

If you're a captive downline agent, and your agency has invited you to connect to your account to theirs, you can do so by following the instructions here:

You're all set!

With that, you're set to start using the platform to quote, enroll, and track your book of business.

Frequently asked questions

How is it possible that HealthSherpa for Marketplace accounts are free to agents and agencies?

We can offer the platform free because some agents choose to use our optional Medicare Referrals program.

I already have a HealthSherpa for Agents ACA account. Will my HealthSherpa for Medicare account be related to my ACA account at all?

No. Your Medicare account will be entirely separated from your ACA account. You’ll visit separate websites to log in and use a separate login and password for each. Note: You can use the same email across both, but we recommend using distinct passwords. For now, we separate these accounts for compliance and data security reasons.

What is an “NPN?”

Your National Producer Number (NPN) is a unique number assigned to you during the licensing application process. If you are a licensed agent, you will be able to look up your NPN easily here.
