This article explains how to open a case, access uploaded conversations, and review Instagram messages shared by a custodian. Once an upload is complete, the extraction code creator will automatically receive an email notification letting them know the messages are ready for review in the portal.
Step 1: Log in
Log in to your account at https://app.usehearsay.com/login.
Step 2: Open the case
From your dashboard, click the case name to open it and view the shared data.
Step 3: Select the data source
Under Recent Uploads, click the name of the data source to open the collected conversations.
You can also click Case Data to view all extraction codes and data source statuses. See How to manage case data for more details.
Step 4: Review Conversations
On the left side of the screen, you’ll see a list of all uploaded conversations. Click any conversation to open it and view the messages inside.
Within each conversation, you can:
View the full message history, including timestamps and participants
Click the Cloud download icon next to any media file to download attachments
