Definition of a Will.
A will is a legal document used to inform who you want to settle your affairs and who should get your assets after you pass away.
In a will, a person can inform who should become the next owner(s) of their real estate upon death. The person(s) receiving ownership of real estate through a will is known as a devisee, whereas a person receiving ownership of real estate through a deed is known as a grantee.
