The Cash Price Tab is focused on delivering up-to-date information on historical and current commodity prices. Here, you are able to view price series from various countries of origin for your selected commodity. A graph and table view allow for different ways of viewing the data.
Cash prices is different from futures prices. All commodities have cash prices, also known as spot prices. Only exchange-traded commodities have futures prices, which are traded on commodity exchanges.
There are two levels to the pricing tab: Global and Country
Global focuses on the average of all origins as well as the average price for each country.
Country-level focuses on price series from that country only and gives more detailed insights about particular markets, regions, or varieties.

It is designed for users who need exact values, comparisons, and the ability to break prices down by origin, variety, or price term.
How the Table Is Organized
Country Origin & Varieties
Each row begins with the origin country and shows the average across all varieties (if the commodity has multiple varieties).
If varieties exist, you can expand the row using the arrow on the left to see:
Individual varieties
Their specific price series
If a commodity has no varieties or only a small number of countries, all price series appear automatically without needing to expand.
Future-Facing vs. Historical Views
You can switch the table between:
Future-facing view (default), which shows projected price changes
Historical-facing view, which shows how current prices compare to past values
Switch between these modes depending on whether you are assessing forecasts or reviewing past performance.
Global vs. Country Table Layout
The Global Pricing Table is organized by:

Current Average Price & Price Range
The current average price reflects the most recent available price, even if the most recent data point is from several weeks or months ago.
The date of the most recent price is shown beneath the origin country name.
The price range shows the minimum and maximum values from the underlying price records when available.
In cases where data sources provide only an average with no range, the range field will remain blank.
Future-Facing Percentage Change (1, 3, 6, 12 months)
These values show how prices are expected to change, answering: “What do we expect the price to be in one month, three months, six months, or a year from now — and how does that compare to today?”
This section appears only when forecast models are available for the series.
Historical Percentage Change (1, 3, 6, 12 months)
These metrics compare the most recent price to historical values: “How does the current price compare to the price one month ago? Three months ago? Six months ago? A year ago?”
Both the percentage change and the actual historical values are shown.
