Purpose
The Cash Prices Tab shows real-world market prices rather than exchange-traded futures. It reflects what buyers and sellers are paying at different points in the supply chain.
Price Types
Depending on availability, prices may include:
Export prices
Wholesale prices
Farmgate prices
Each price series is tied to:
A country or market
A variety (if applicable)
Specific pricing terms
Navigation and Filtering
You can:
Change the unit of measurement
Filter by country, variety, or pricing terms
Click into individual countries for deeper analysis
Historical and Forecast Data
For each price series, the platform displays:
Historical prices going back to 2020
Forecast prices up to 12 months into the future (when available)
Context around price movement through summary text or outlooks
This tab helps users understand current market conditions and short-term price expectations.
