Do you cover all types of commodities (agriculture, metals, energy, etc.)?

TLDR: We focus on agricultural commodities such as fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Today, Helios focuses on agriculture—specifically 70+ crops spanning grains, fruits, vegetables, oilseeds, tropical softs, and other specialty crops. We prioritize these because climate is a first-order driver of yield, availability, and price in agricultural markets, and our platform is built to translate this volatility into precise predictions and decision-ready risk signals down to the region level. That means you can monitor crop risk across major producing regions and drill into seasonality and localized stress without juggling multiple tools.

Right now, our agricultural focus is on fresh commodities - grains, softs, fruits, nuts, vegetables, and more. We cover the different varieties of each commodity as well, and are expanding rapidly to cover additional products such as derivatives of main crops, such as oils, flours, feed, meals, pastes, etc. We are also planning on expanding out to frozen foods, canned foods, and processed foods. We are expanding our list of commodities every day - if you are interested in something that we do not currently have, please reach out, and we can make it a priority to add to the platform!

That said, our architecture is data-type agnostic: the same ingestion, normalization, and modeling approach can be extended beyond crops. We’re actively evaluating expansions that apply our methodology to metals and energy—where climate interacts with demand, logistics, and infrastructure in different ways—and we’ll bring those to market where the signals prove robust and useful.
