Home Page Overview
The Home Page is your starting point in Helios. It provides access to all commodities you are subscribed to and serves as the main navigation hub for exploring data across the platform.
When you log in, you are automatically placed on the CommodiTrack home page, which lists every commodity available in your account.
Commodities List
The Commodities list is organized into two sections to make it easier to browse and find what you’re looking for.
Exchange-Traded Commodities
Exchange-traded commodities appear at the top of the list. These are commodities that are actively traded on financial exchanges and typically have futures contracts associated with them.
Examples include:
Soy
Wheat
Cocoa
Coffee
Selecting one of these commodities gives you access to futures pricing, climate risk, supply, demand, trade data, and other market insights tied to exchange activity.
Standard Commodities
Below the exchange-traded section, you’ll find standard commodities. These include commodities that are not primarily traded on futures exchanges but are still critical to global supply chains.
Examples include:
Fruits and vegetables
Grains and beans
Other non-exchange agricultural products
Standard commodities provide access to the same core analytics (climate, supply, trade, pricing, news), presented in formats appropriate to how those commodities are bought, sold, and sourced.
Searching for a Commodity
At the top of the Home Page, you’ll find a search bar that allows you to quickly locate a specific commodity.
To use the search:
Click into the search bar at the top of the page.
Start typing the name of a commodity (for example, “apples”).
Matching results will appear immediately.
Select the commodity you want to view.
This is the fastest way to navigate when you already know which commodity you’re looking for.
Opening a Commodity Page
To explore data for any commodity:
Click directly on the commodity name from the list.
This will take you into that commodity’s dashboard, where you can access tabs such as Climate, Supply, Trade, Pricing, News, and more, depending on your subscription.
How to Use the Home Page Effectively
Use the commodity categories to browse broadly when exploring new markets.
Use the search bar when you need to jump directly to a specific commodity.
Return to the Home Page anytime to switch commodities or review what’s included in your subscription.
