If your store generation is stuck at 99%, it’s typically caused by high traffic, browser hiccups, or Shopify plan limitations. Here’s how to fix it:
1. Wait a few minutes
Sometimes generation slows down due to heavy usage. Give it a few minutes before trying again.
2. Refresh and retry
Reload your Shopify admin and reinitiate the generation. This resolves most stuck generations.
3. Check your Shopify plan
Theme imports are only supported on certain Shopify plans. If you're using the Starter plan, upgrade to Basic Shopify or higher to unlock full theme import capabilities.
4. Use the Product Source method instead
The most stable generation option is to paste a product URL into the product source field inside Atlas. This bypasses some theme limitations and tends to complete faster.
