You can add new AI-generated product pages to your existing Atlas store at any time without rebuilding anything. This is useful for testing new offers, expanding your catalog, or adding products as you scale.
In this article:
How to generate a new product page
Open the Atlas app from your Shopify admin.
In the left-hand menu, click Your Stores. This will show all the Atlas themes in your Shopify store.
Find the store (theme) you want to add a product to and click the + Add product page button next to it.
Select your store language.
Optionally, configure your Research Context (more on this below).
Choose your page layout.
The theme will come preselected based on the store you clicked from. You can change this if needed.
Select your product source and provide the product link or select a product.
Click Proceed to start generating your product page.
Choosing a page layout
When generating a new product page, you have two layout options:
Atlas default page template. This uses the standard Atlas product page sections and layout. Choose this if you're using an Atlas theme and want the default structure Atlas provides.
Use your own product page as a template. This option lets you select an existing product page from your store as a template. Atlas will keep the page layout and styles from that template, while updating the text and images for the new product. This is ideal if you've already customized a product page to your liking and want all new products to match that exact layout.
Selecting a product source
Atlas supports six product sources:
Shopify. Select a product directly from your existing Shopify catalog. When you choose this option, a menu will open showing all products in your store. Simply pick the one you want. No link required.
AliExpress. Paste a valid AliExpress product link.
Amazon. Paste a valid Amazon product link.
Alibaba. Paste a valid Alibaba product link.
Etsy. Paste a valid Etsy product link.
Custom website. Paste a product link from any website. Atlas will pull the product information from the page. This works for any product source beyond the supported marketplaces listed above.
Using Research Context for better copy
The Research Context field is optional but can significantly improve the quality of your generated product page copy.
Atlas uses an Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to generate targeted, direct-response copy for your product pages. By default, Atlas auto-generates this ICP based on the product information. However, if you have your own customer research, you can provide it to Atlas for more tailored results.
You have three options:
None (Use auto-generated ICP). Atlas will create the ICP automatically based on the product data. This is the default and works well for most cases.
Enter research text. Paste your own customer research, audience notes, or ICP details directly into the text field.
Upload document (PDF/DOCX). Upload a research document containing your customer insights, market research, or ICP data. Atlas will use this to generate more targeted copy.
If you have detailed knowledge of your target audience, providing your own research will help Atlas produce copy that speaks more directly to your ideal customer.
What Atlas generates for you
Each product page is built automatically with:
AI-written product title, description, and page layout
Formatted images and variant setup
Content designed to match your existing store's look and feel
You don't need to manually configure the page layout or formatting. Atlas handles that based on your current theme and store style.
Good to know
You don't need to regenerate your entire store. Each new product page is created independently. Just repeat the steps above whenever you want to add a new product.
Product pages are generated one at a time. If you're looking to generate multiple products at once, that's only available during the initial store setup (up to 20 products). After that, pages are added individually. For more details, refer to our How do I generate a general store with multiple products using Atlas? article.
Any product source works. Whether you're importing from AliExpress, Amazon, Alibaba, Etsy, a custom website, or pulling from your existing Shopify catalog, the generation process follows the same flow.
The theme is preselected for you. When you click + Add product page from a specific store, Atlas automatically selects that theme. You can change it manually if you want the product page to go into a different theme.
